Lizardmen VS Skaven
Saturday morning we had a small game 800 points, Lizardmen vs Skaven, it was just to get back into the swing of things. Unfortunately we were not able to finish the game due to unforeseen circumstances. Though it was a good game, here is a few pics of what happened.
On the far left of the table I had 12 skink skirmishers, 18 Saurus warriors with full command and an Old Blood to lead my army.
Centre of the table I had another group of skink skirmishers, with a level 2 skink priest with an ixti talisman giving him 3 spells ( useless ones mostly ). to the right of them I had my last regiment of skink skirmishers and a salamander.
My opponent played with a sizeable amount of skaven, he had a doomwheel, really... One horde of slaves and 2 smaller regiments of slaves. Some giant rats and so on.
His army was led by a rat on a rat. Something that is more scary on table than what I originally thought.
He customized his warlord as in the army book, a very interesting unit indeed.
The battle was bloody, the casualties many, and I do hope to get a rematch on the game to see what the outcome will be.
