Well it has been a very busy time for me the past couple of months, and for the past 11 months I traveled with no army near me. It was a dark lonely time...
On my return I started painting again, and decide to get back into it properly, I am sorting out all my current models, and also getting my airbrush skills up and running, been at it about a week maybe a bit more. At the moment I love the effects that you can obtain with it, and the speed and ease of using it, I have to admit I do think tattooing does help in that regard as well.
So hold on for new photos to be uploaded soon.

#7 Dwarf Army
Here is the glorious Dwarf Army... or should I rather say group?
They have about 750pts with upgrades.
A mere 36 models in the entire army. I have not added anything since the Battle for Skull Pass,
mainly since they are fighting a losing battle. I have occasional luck with them,
though more often I am the victim.
So alas they have been abandoned and now only look over the other armies in a deep dark drawer.
That concludes the Dwarf army, next up will be either building features or Orc army... Still pondering.

#6 Dwarf Thane
This is like arguing with a wall! With their Gromril armour and shield he forms quite a sturdy dwarf.
A proper leadership makes him a great general,
and with all his attacks he can even dish some damage out as well.
The Good is mostly his potent armour and relatively cheap cost in points.
The Bad aside from his movement not really much.
The Bad aside from his movement not really much.
I enjoyed painting this thane, with the exception of so few customizable features.

#5 Dwarf Slayer
Slayers are the crazy dwarfs, they are the ones who had a bit of a mental breakdown.
Forsaking your armour to go in without any? Crazy enough.
The good, the slayer axes can destroy tougher foes easily enough.
Naked fighters look crazier on the battle field.
The bad, well crazy or not forsaking your armour has a downside... Being hit tends to hurt so much more.
This is my unconventional Slayer, well since I always have a few Windhoek Draught caps lying around and ran out of bases, I decided well he can do with a bit more of custom base. Especially since he is a loner and cannot join a regiment made this perfect for what I wanted to do.

#4 Dwarf Cannon
As promised here is the Cannon in all it's glory and in one piece for now.
The Dwarf Cannon is a potent ranged war machine,
manned by a couple of Dwarfs this can give most greenskins fear!
Enchanted with a rune or two this gets even worse or better depending on how you look at it.
The good, the grape shot and range.Facing any army with a low leadership will really come to hate these.
The bad, things can go south real fast!
The cannon has some of most interesting crew members, really enjoy them.

#3 Dwarf Miners!
The Dwarf miners are a special choice, and rightfully so!
That is if luck is on your side and they don't get lost.
The Miners have a tunnelling ability, that they appear almost at any table edge.
This makes them great for taking out war machines, mages or any fragile unit.
Their Pick axes count as great weapons, so even though they hit last, hitting with a +2 modifier makes their hits deadly! Units with a high toughness can take quite a beating from these little guys.
On the downside is their appalling speed and that chance of getting lost when being deployed underground / table.

#2 Dwarf Thunderers
The Thunderers, a Dwarf regiment that has quite a range, and with their dwarven rifles do quite an amount of damage. Even at close quarter combat they are fearsome, with a high overall leadership, good equipment and armour they are one Dwarf regiment that tear others apart at range.
They were fun to paint, and I enjoyed the versatility of the units.
